We are currently planning our first Junior Rapidplay for 21st January 2024! Full details will be available soon.
This will consist of six games with each player paired against an opponent on the same score (the is the Swiss system - it is not a knockout). Players will have 15 minutes plus 5 seconds per move on the clock (don't worry all will be explained!)
The tournament will give priority to Portishead players but will be open to players from all over. We hope to attract between 40-80 players. Entry will be £10.00 and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, best girl player and age group prizes.
