Tyson a FIDE Master (FM) and a four-times Bristol Champion, as well as a several-times champion of both Glos and Somerset. To get an FM title you need a published FIDE Elo rating of 2300 or above. His peak was 2317 in July 2008.
So we are very lucky that he has agreed to come to the club next Friday (4th October) to give what will be a very fascinating talk to both the Junior and Adult club! Make sure you don't miss it!
