There’s a tough run in to the end of the season - and this was one of them! On board two our player essayed a trappy line in the Slav and won a piece early on. Edward (4) seemed very comfortable and duly converted. Oliver (5) drew in a technical endgame. Andrew (3) playing one of his well rehearsed but slightly offbeat variations, won a very nice positional game. So that gave us the 3.5 points needed for the win!
