Briefings and Game Demonstrations this Friday!

Training Sessions at Portishead Chess Club

As the League season comes to a conclusion, a new phase begins! Between now and September our aim is boith to grow the membership and help our players improve.

On Friday, during the Junior Club (6-7pm) there will be a Briefing Session aimed at helping all our young players who will be competing in the 4th Portishead Junior Rapidplay on Saturday (Sold Out!) This will be fairly informal allowing players to ask questions about what to expect as well as an opportunity to think how they can make the most of the experience.

Just after 7.00 pm Andrew will demonstrate one of his recent instructive games where everyone will have a chance to comment and ask questions. Don't miss this as it is certain to be highly instructive!
