The London Junior Chess Championships is one of the country's most prestigious junior chess events. Qualifying events for U8, U10 & U12 age groups run in different venues throughout the autumn. There is no prior qualification necessary for the U14 events. If you (more likely your child) is under 12 - here’s the link for the qualifier in Cardiff:
