A Team draw against Horfield and Redland

Horfield and Redland turned up last night to take on our A Team. We were heavily out graded on boards 3-6 by an average of 200 rating points, so it looked like it was going to be a tough evening. None-the-less, Tim, Oliver and Ibrahim all dug in and managed to secure very creditable draws. Iain pressed all game and looked to have squeezed a win out of a very close endgame but played a move in the wrong order that allowed his opponent to simplify into a drawn ending. Last up was Baptiste who needed to win to draw the match, 3-3 - which he did.
