Get your children and their schools involved. It’s a Mega, all inclusive fun event starting in Bristol, progressing through regional events (Giga-finals), onto a National final (Terra-final) and two ultimate winners! If your school isn’t up to speed, Portishead Chess Club can help. We are closely connected through the ECF Junior Development Pathway and “Chess in Schools and Communities (CSC)”
Feels too soon? We have 17 Chess Tutors and Junior Assistant Tutors in the club trained to help anyone from complete beginners to competition players. With young players, amazing things happen in 4 months - so get them signed up and give them something to aim for!
