Santosh and SJ Win!

So the B team travelled to visit our neighbours at South Bristol. On top board Dan faced a sharp line against his favourite Caro Kann and came out with a draw. On board two the South Bristol played the razor sharp but ill-advised King's Gambit which Santosh countered with the Falkbeer Counter-Gambit. The trouble with sharp opening lines is that if your play isn't very accurate your position can disintegrate very quickly - and so it was. Unfortunately on the next three boards luck wasn't going our way. SJ, however, playing a French Defence managed to make the score more respectable with a fine win. 3.5-2.5 to South Bristol - congratulations!
