About the event
This is unique opportunity for chess players aged 11-16 to train to become an Assistant Chess Tutor. The training is hosted by "Chess in Schools and Communities" and will take place at North Weston Village Hall
(If parking not available on the road you can park in the cemetery opposite).
Benefits:

- helps those working towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
- a fun afternoon out with friends
Parents can stay at the venue to observe but will not become an assistant tutor . That’s just for under 16 s.
Price: £25.00 (subsidised from £50.00 by Portishead Chess Club).
Free for junior members of Portishead Junior Club (but RSVP to gain a place) and Portishead children.
