Bristol & District Chess League

This year, for the first time Portishead Chess Club has entered two teams in the Bristol & District League - and will be adding further teams next season! It's a new and challenging experience for many of our players who have never played in serious competition before. Each match is played over 4 boards with a time limit of 80mins + 10 seconds/move. We have so many enthusiastic players, however, that we often agree to take on our opponents over as many as 8 boards!
